I was very excited for the opportunity to mix this live debate at Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law. Downtown Chicago is a notoriously difficult RF environment for wireless mics, so I put in double the normal effort to make sure I had adequate antenna coverage, back up frequencies and transmitters to deploy should anything go awry; all running on a redundant Dante network with analog backup runs to the House in case of network interruptions.
