This piece for the BBC’s Storyworks documentary series was made during an unforgettable week of visiting dairy farms in rural Wisconsin. Our three man crew arrived at farms before sunrise each day to capture the morning routine of moving the cows to pasture. Since we had limited space and hands with a lot of ground to cover, we had to move fast and travel light; my Zaxcom Nova 2 recorder was the perfect lightweight and nimble solution for the kind of run and gun shooting schedule we were on.
